Semra Ahiska

Dr. Ahiska is a visiting scholar from the Industrial Engineering Department at Galatasaray University in Istanbul, Turkey where she serves as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Ahiska received scholarship support from the Turkish Council of Higher Education (Yükseköğretim Kurulu) to pursue collaborative research at CAMAL with special interest in the area of stochastic production and inventory control with applications to hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing systems, multi-supplier systems and systems with product substitution. An emphasis of her work is in characterization of optimal control policies in order to develop implementable control systems.
